Mr Bulldog

I acquired Mr Bulldog,
aka Fluffy, from Dr. Richard Godbee when I was working for him at Tahitian Noni
International. Dr. Godbee was the director of animal nutrition there and was
doing quite a bit of international travel at the time. He brought Fluffy to
Utah in early April of 2007 so that I could work him for a while. My previous
Thoroughbred that I had been riding had been recently sold, and I was looking
for a horse to ride. I rode Fluffy for about a month when Dr. Godbee surprised
me one day with his papers. He had signed him over to me. It was an amazing
day! We love Mr Bulldog so much. I am grateful for
breeders like Mary Lou Griffin [Mr Bulldog is a half-brother to 2000 Washington
horse of the year Rings a Chime], who care so much for their horses when they
are young. As he is getting older, he is very much being spoiled rotten living
out here in Utah. Our nieces did a science project on what type of horse
cookies horses like, and Fluffy liked all of them. I think he skewed the
results! My nieces not only love feeding him, but love riding him too. He is
always very gentle. I think Mr Bulldog realizes how good he has it here.
He is a wonderful horse for me since I no longer
ride eventers. I had a serious accident two years earlier ending my desire to
ride cross country. Fluffy has always been sensible and responsive in all our
riding. I even rode him until I was eight months pregnant. He is now strictly a
lower level dressage horse, giving occasional lessons to my nieces. We think
the world of him, and he will always have a home here with us in Mapleton,
Utah. Allie Sensinger
