Casino Drive visits children from the Anna House daycare center on the Belmont
Park backstretch. The son of Mineshaft, who was sold as a yearling by
Washingtonian Dr. Mark Dedomenico, was attempting to become the third Belmont
Stakes (G1) winner in three years for his dam Better Than Honour. Left,
Nobutaka Tada, racing manager for Japanese owner Hidetoshi Yamamoto announced
that Casino Drive (above) would be scratched from the Belmont due to a bruised
foot. |
