At top, Casino Drive visits children from the Anna House daycare center on the Belmont Park backstretch. The son of Mineshaft, who was sold as a yearling by Washingtonian Dr. Mark Dedomenico, was attempting to become the third Belmont Stakes (G1) winner in three years for his dam Better Than Honour. Left, Nobutaka Tada, racing manager for Japanese owner Hidetoshi Yamamoto announced that Casino Drive (above) would be scratched from the Belmont due to a bruised foot.
