Benefit Horse Show for Washington Livestock
Flood Victims
Concerned horse folks are
putting together a benefit horse show THIS COMING SATURDAY, December 15. The
purpose of the event will be to raise money to purchase hay for livestock
owners recently devastated by the floods. One of the goals is to bring a semi
load of 30 tons of hay for relief.
The show will be at the
Flying M Arena in Olympia. Please see below for more details. The show, which
starts at 8am, will have performance classes in the morning and gaming in the
afternoon. Many local businesses are contributing raffle prizes.
This is a great opportunity
for the horse community to reach out and help those in dire need. Please
forward this info on to anyone who might be interested. Volunteers are needed
to help with gates, parking, registration, etc. Others just looking for a way
to help can drop off donations or purchase raffle tickets as well.
