Open to all foals regardless of where bred.
Distances range from 5 1/2 furlongs to 1 mile.
In order to run in the Northwest Stallion Stakes,
the sire must have been previously nominated.
For 2012 Series (Foals of 2010 -
Yearlings of 2011)
Fees:
$300/$350 – Continuing eligibility, if foal was
provisionally nominated in year of birth (2010). WTBOA members pay $300. Non-WTBOA members pay $350.
$1,000/$1,050 – A one-time
payment per yearling if said foal was not provisionally nominated in
year of birth (2010). WTBOA members pay $1,000. Non-WTBOA members pay $1,050.
For 2013 Series (Foals of 2011 -
Yearlings of 2012)
Fees:
$450/$500 – To fully nominate for series of 2013. A one-time payment per foal for running in series of 2013. No other payment necessary until starting and entry fees at time of each race. WTBOA members pay $450. Non-WTBOA members pay $500.
$250/$300 – Provisional nomination per foal for running in series of 2013. A further eligibility payment is due on or before December 31, 2012, in order for provisionally nominated foals to compete in 2013. WTBOA members pay $250 now and an additional $300 the following year. Non-WTBOA members pay $300 now and an additional $350 the following year.
