Stallion Nomination Form

(For mares bred in 2008, foals of 2009)

Stallion nominators’ awards are paid for each race in the Northwest Race Series each year. These awards equal five percent of the total gross purse of each Northwest Race Series race and are paid to the nominators of the sires of the first, second and third place horses as follows: 50% for first, 30% for second and 20% for third.
Nominated offspring of nominated stallions are eligible to run in the 2011 Stallion Stakes as two-year-olds. To nominate your stallion(s), a nominating fee equal to 50% of the published stud fee, or a minimum of $500, must be postmarked no later than April 15, 2008. (Stallions whose stud fees are by private treaty will require a written statement from the syndicate manager explaining how the stud fee is determined.) Nominations are open to all stallions.
REMEMBER: Offspring of nominated stallions MUST ALSO be nominated to the Northwest Race Series to be able to run in the 2011 Stallion Stakes as two-year-olds. Non-nominated horses by nominated stallions may be supplemented to the 2011 Stallion Stakes at that year’s supplementary fee.
