Mike Gastineau from KJR 950's "Live Racing with the Gas Man" and David Nathanson, general manager of TVG, were on hand for the festivities. The 2007 Longacres Mile presented by TVG (G3) was contested on August 19, 2007, for a record $400,000 purse through a sponsorship by TVG.
Emerald Downs director of broadcast media Joe Withee and announcer Robert Geller emceed the event, as Emerald Downs vice president of marketing Susie Sourwine looks on.

First to draw was Vicky Potter for Washington-bred Wasserman – bred, owned and trained by Howard Belvoir, ridden by Jennifer Whitaker. She drew post position 3. Finished third in the 2007 Longacres Mile.
A representative for trainer Jerry Hollendorfer drew second, drawing post position 12 for Trickey Trevor, owned by Hollendorfer, Dan Jelladian and George Todaro, ridden by Russell Baze.
Trainer H.R. "Pat" Mullens drew third for Ron Crockett, Inc.'s Don'twritemeoff, drawing post position 11. Jockey: Macario Rodriguez.
Trainer Junior Coffey drew fourth, standing in for trainer Doug O'Neil, drawing post position 8 for Ron Crockett, Inc's Raise the Bluff, ridden by Tyler Baze.Finished a close second in the 2007 Longacres Mile.
Trainer Tom Wenzel drew post position 1 for Ron Crockett, Inc.'s The Great Face. The Great Face was bred in Washington by Patricia J. Murphy and will be ridden by Juan Gutierrez. Winner of the 2007 Longacres Mile.
Trainer Mike Chambers did the honors for owner Mike Pegram and trainer Bob Baffert for Wanna Runner, drawing post position 9. Jockey: Ricky Frazier.
Trainer Frank Lucarelli stood in for trainer Roger Stein to draw for Gotaghostofachance, taking post position 4 for owners Ross McLeod and Charles Ming. Jockey: Kevin Radke.
A representative from Rising Star Stable II, T. Donovan and Phil & B.J. Torres drew post position 2 for Courting Seattle, who is trained by Howard Belvoir and ridden by Sandi Gann
Owner Leona Orr, with the estate of Barbara J. Nelson, drew post position 10 for Washington-bred Norm's Nephew, which was bred by Mr. and Mrs. William C. Nelson, Jr. Trained by Jim Orr, ridden by Debbie Hoonan-Trujillo.
Mike (above) & Amy Feuerborn and J. & J. Maryanski, owners of Schoolin You, drew post position 6 for their Washington-bred who is trained by Jim Penney and ridden by Leslie Mawing. Finished fourth in the 2007 Longacres Mile.
Not pictured is Jerry Miller who represented KJ Star Stable and drew post position 7 for Diligent Prospect, who is trained by Charles Essex and ridden by Wilson Dieguez.
Final draw went to Sinister Minister who drew post position 5. Mike Chambers once again did the honors for Bob Baffert who trains for owners Lanni Family Trust, Mercedes Stable LLC and Bernard C. Schiappa. Jockey: Clinton Potts.
On Mile Draw Day, the jockey in the Emerald Downs paddock is white washed in preparation for receiving the silks of this year's winner.
